Learning to Read Online

My pre-school age son is addicted to the computer. He now "fights" with me over the computer! He wants to play his games all the time. I guess the only good thing out of this is that he only surf the educational sites that I opened for him. Well, at least most of the time. 

One in awhile, I found him at other sites like the other day, he was "reading" some humidifier reviews online and then yesterday, he was looking at a news portal! The sites that he accidentally goes into when I was not looking, sometimes worried me.

But at least so far, he did not go into any "worrying" sites yet. When I asked him how he got to these sites, he will shake his head and said he does not recall. I guess he must have been clicking at every clickable item on the page. I think it is time for me to guide him where he can click and where he cannot.

 

Baby Monitors Not Just for Babies

To me baby monitor is a priceless thing to stay close with not just our baby but our grown up kids too. When my children are still babies, I use my best baby monitor to make sure that I attend to them when they cry and follow by midnight milk or some cuddling.

I also use the baby monitor to ensure that when I am away from the baby doing housework or taking a shower, I will be able to make sure the baby is alright. When they eventually grow into preschoolers, the baby monitor will serve to cal...
